For comedians: The Blue Room at The Tiny Cupboard is simply a relaxed environment to work on material, experiment, try jokes, and network with other comics. Not a contest, audition, or direct pipeline for spots on shows.

If you'd like to audition for spots on our house shows, we have free auditions in our main room every Tuesday at 630pm. These are show up go up. We accept less than 1% of comedians & have very limited spots available, so please don't take it personally if we don't get back to you (it's not necessarily a reflection of your comedy, more so a reflection of what we need). If you're looking for our booking criteria; what we like is hilarity, self-awareness, humility, originality, and authenticity.

For musicians: our set up is super simple, so please expect just a microphone, a speaker (aux or bluetooth), a small stage that can fit 2 people, & whatever else you bring.

HOW TO GET THERE (new please read):
DON'T go up the fire escape please and don't use the fire escape unless it's an emergency. Go to 1717 Broadway Brooklyn (around the corner from our main showroom entrance at 10 Cooper street Brooklyn). You'll see a BLACK DOOR ABOUT 20 FEET to the RIGHT of ARMANDOS PIZZA. Buzz 315 and the call sign, wait to be buzzed in, and then head up to studio 315 (what we call the blue room). If we don't respond or buzz you in, we may be away from our phone/have bad reception—try to buzz in for photodom maybe.
