Pedro Gonzalez Does An Hour In Spanish As Part of NY Comedy Fest 2024

Pedro Gonzalez is a NY-based comedian born in Colombia. Pedro is a zero-generation immigrant, which means he came to the U.S. as a teenager with zero English and zero money. He ended up receiving a Masters Degree in English at UCLA. In 2020 he made his late-night television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and now, he’s a story editor on Mike Schur’s new comedy PRIMO (Freeve/Universal Television). He performs in clubs and colleges all over the world and counts both English and Spanish language speakers among his fans as he performs in both languages.

Pedro es un comediante colombiano que ha sido finalista en el concurso New York Funniest, Stand Up NBC, y también se destaca como el primer inmigrante latinoamericano en hacer stand up en The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Además de destacarse en la escena de comedia angloparlante, Pedro ha girado con F*cks News, Carlos Ballarta y con su show personal por Colombia, Canadá y los Estados Unidos. Pedro entretiene a su público con sus experiencias como inmigrante, esposo y papá.

Pedro Gonzalez is a New York based Colombian American comedian who lives in NYC, and he was the first Latin American immigrant comedian to appear on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Besides touring the country as a stand up, Pedro is a staff writer of an upcoming Amazon TV show based on the life of NY Times best seller Shea Serrano. Pedro loves writing jokes, and thanks to his passion he’s been a finalist of several national competitions like Stand Up NBC and also a finalist in the New York’s Funniest Contest.
